A license plate beginning with CD-XX-XXX is designated for vehicles owned by diplomats or individuals with diplomatic status working at embassies, consulates, permanent representations, NATO, or other international diplomatic organizations in Belgium.
All vehicles owned by diplomatic missions in Belgium must carry mandatory third-party (civil) liability insurance from a Belgian insurer, meeting the minimum requirements for registration in Belgium.
